Slight update about Trac Link to this post

Sourceforge does now offer Trac tracking as an option on its projects. I know because 2 of the ones that I'm admin of use Trac as our Wiki and for other functions. Trac powers the wiki pages of Sourceforge now but one problem I've run into is that Sourceforge's install of Trac requires the end-user to be logged into Sourceforge or via OpenID to be able to access the Trac interface to the projects.

I've never used Trac on sourceforge, but I'm glad that it's there. As for the end-user having to be logged in, that's a permissions issue. There should be an option somewhere to change that (don't ask me where). If there is no permissions setting for this, then that's something that the sourceforge team should look at adding.

Since I last posted, SourceForge fixed the permissions problem with Trac. People can now read the Wikis on each of my projects on SF.net without being logged in.
